The Hunger Fighters program encompasses the operation costs required to maintain progress and ability to carry out our mission. Our distribution facility requires refrigeration and air conditioning units to ensure safe food storage practices. The risks of the Covid-19 pandemic resulted in a shift from a volunteer staffing to a salaried workforce in the interest of maintaining the safety and well being of our staff. 

The Hunger Connection program encompasses the transportation system in place that links Joseph Dreamhouse to grocers and donors and ultimately to our community. Using a cargo van, we transfer large quantities of food and essential items from grocers to our distribution facility where our staff sorts and individually packages items according to individual client needs. 

The Dream Center program embodies Joseph Dreamhouse's education initiative and commitment to helping families achieve greatness and overcome the obstacles in gaining upward mobility. The Dream Center will provide opportunities for community members to increase their English language skills and job preparedness with resume writing and interview skills workshops.

JDH prioritizes the health and wellbeing of our clients, and focuses on supplying the healthy food items that are often inaccessible to low-income individuals due to their high costs.
